I understand that commissioning a piece of artwork can be a daunting thing and is extremely personal. We will work together to ensure I can produce a piece of work you will love and that truly captures the person and/or moment you are after. We will have an initial consultation over email or phone to discuss what you want from the piece. This will include what you would like to include within the painting, what mood or special moment you wish to capture, the size of the piece and whether there are any particular colours you might like me to try and incorporate.

Currently I work from photographs, meaning we do not need to arrange sittings, which can save you a lot of time. I do ask for high quality photographs where I can see a good amount of detail on the face, as this may be the main focus of your portrait!

Works will be completed on ready to hang canvases, but if you would like another surface please let me know. I usually work to a minimum size of 16/20” but again, if there is something specific you are looking for, I am open to discussion! Depending on availability, completion of the work plus drying time will take approximately one month.
